Why are all the good men fictional?

So, I have this obsession with Criminal Minds and I have found that I have an obsession inside of Criminal Minds so its like 2 obsessions rolled into one. Meet my obsession inside of an obsession

His name is Dr. Spencer Reid. Most everyone I talk to about this show like buff and tough agent Morgan the best. And of course, I like the nerd the best. My love for this character grew even more after I saw this.

If only he were a real person. Too bad all the good men are either taken, gay, or in my case, FICTIONAL!

Question 3

Okay so I know I fell down on the job but I'm gonna get back into the 30 questions thing. So, here we go!

Question 3: Name 3 guilty pleasures you have and how they became guilty pleasures.

Let me begin by saying, I am not ashamed of any of these guilty pleasures. I own them and love them proudly.

1. Boy bands. I was born in the 90's and I remember that as soon as I was old enough to start picking what music I liked I gravitated towards NSYNC and The Backstreet Boys. Years later, I still love them. I just have this thing with the harmonies and the synchronized dancing. Its kind of ridiculous but I can proudly say that I have CD's from both bands in my car and all over my iPod.

2. Reality TV. I remember when I was in about 6th grade or a little bit younger I saw my parents watching Survivor one night and it interested me so I sat down and watched it with them. I was immediately hooked on the show and kind of got hooked on reality TV all together. I watch tons of reality TV (a little too much actually) I watch Survivor, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Celebrity Apprentice, Amazing Race, Kardashians, Dancing With The Stars all that junk. Its kind of ridiculous actually.

3. This is definitely my most guilty pleasure of all. Korean dramas and music. I know what you are thinking. Korean whaaa---? Yes, music and dramas. This one came about around the beginning of summer I think. My best friend Katie showed me a Korean show she had watched and I was very reluctant to watch it. I started watching it and took to it like a fish to water. I've watched even more dramas and gotten into their music. The dramas have subtitles so its not like you are sitting there confused about whats going on and lemme tell ya, they write better romances than the Americans do. Just sayin. I absolutely love their music as well. Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean its not good music. The feeling of the music is still there and some of it is just plain fun.

So those are 3 of my guilty pleasures out for everyone to read.

Day 2: Fear

Day 2: Describe 5 legitimate fears you have and how they became fears

1. Needles. Specifically needles in doctors offices. I wasn't terribly afraid of them until sometime towards the beginning of high school. I just don't like the idea of a foreign object going into my skin and I don't like how it feels when it is in my skin. When I go to dentist or doctors offices and see the case of them sitting attached to the wall my whole body reacts and goes numb in a very odd way. Its good I don't have tons of medical problems that require surgeries because I would be having constant anxiety attacks.

2. Bees. I think this kind of goes with my fear of needles. I don't like bees because they can sting and when they sting they put their stinger inside of your skin. I guess I just don't like the idea of foreign objects going into my skin period. When I was younger and got stung for the first time it hurt so bad and I didn't even do anything to the stupid bee to provoke it. Every time I have been stung I haven't done anything to the bee. Ever since then, I have been terrified. I see a bee and run the other way regardless of whether or not it is paying any attention to me. One question I have for God in the afterlife for sure. Why are bees necessary?

3.Spiders. I really don't know how this became a fear of mine I just know that I hate them. They just seem so unnatural with their 8 legs, multiple eyes and their ability to run really fast. When there is a spider, I don't care how big it is. I always enlist the help of my someone around me to kill it.

4. Public speaking. Public anything rather. I hate doing things in front of other people with them all staring at me. Speaking in church, sometimes even answering a question in class it just fills me with dread. I think I have been able to trace this back to the 5th grade. In the 5th grade we did a play. Everyone was required to try out and I was actually really excited to be in a play because I had never been in one before. I tried out about 10 other kids and I were put on stage crew. We didn't even get to be chorus people or just random people in the background! All my friends got parts and I didn't. From then on I have never been able to do anything in front of people.

5. Heights. I just hate that feeling of falling and I associate heights with falling. If I get up super high my adrenaline will kick in and my body will start preparing for the fall. It almost makes me sick. I have no idea how this fear came to be I just kind of noticed it one day.

30 Day Blog Challenge!

Hello blogging world! I know, I know, I have been sucking at this blogging thing lately so I have found something to get me back into the swing of things! I have found a 30 day blogging challenge that I really kind of want to do. I don't guarantee I will be able to do one each day as I go through periods of being really busy but I will do them all in order. The first one is list 10 random facts about yourself. So, here we go!

1. I get headaches at the drop of a hat. One minute I'll be fine and the next my head will just start pounding. This isn't something that has happened to me all my life or anything. It started around the time I started college. I blame stress.

2. Yes, I am the next girl to get married on both sides of my family. No, I do not have a boyfriend and will not be getting married anytime soon. Now you can all stop asking :)

3. I memorize movies. I can literally recite entire movies with different voices for the characters. I have accomplished this through the music in movies. I always remember the music and because I memorize music so quickly the dialogue becomes part of the music kind of like the lyrics I guess you could say.

4. I am absolutely obsessed with crime shows. Law & Order: SVU, Criminals Minds, The First 48, Dateline: Real Life Mystery, 48 Hours Hard Evidence, Snapped I could go on and on. I have no idea why I love these shows so much but besides reality TV, which I also love, they are all I ever watch. My mom has no idea how I do it and not have nightmares.

5. I have had at least 2 oral surgeries where I have had to be put out. I hate needles and was really nervous going into both of them. I don't remember anything after either procedure. The first thing I remember from both is waking up on the couch. Apparently both times when I woke up I was mad at the surgeon and the second surgery when I got home I apparently demanded Harry Potter.

6. My favorite kind of weather is when it is raining but yet its still sunny. I just love how its warm but yet the rain cools you off from the warm. Its especially awesome when you close your eyes and put your face toward the sun.

7. I have a cat who acts like a dog, makes sounds like a cow and occasionally a goat, he thinks he is a human and will answer when I talk to him. We have had full conversations before. Some people might think this is the strangest thing ever but I don't care because I think its funny. He is smarter than most of the human population.

8. I will hardly ever pay full price for an item of clothing or shoes unless I absolutely love it. I have always been this why and I have no idea why. The expensive clothes and shoes I have are usually given to me as gifts or I end up thinking about it and when I do that I know that I need to get it. Because of this thought process I am usually in the same store a couple of times before I actually buy it. It just makes me sick to spend tons of money on something no matter what it is.

9. I have this weird thing for hats. I love them and I buy them but I hardly ever wear them and can't organize them for the life of me. If you have any hat organizing tips, let me know. Mine are just sitting at the bottom of my closet right now haha.

10. If I'm sad about something and decide to watch a movie I don't go for a chick flick like most other women do. I go for an action movie. Why? Because in these movies there is always something blowing up every few scenes and I find that much more therapeutic to watch rather than life going perfectly for two lucky people. Blowing things up makes anything better :)
